AUGUSTA ROAD. At lunch time, you'll see well-to-do Augusta Road yuppies, tables of senior citizens, groups of professionals, construction workers on break, a crew of Greenville policemen and women, and crowds of teens. In short, everybody comes here. The interior is dotted with photos of local baseball teams and information about civic groups. An extremely friendly staff is happy to give you refills of the best sweet tea around. The menu, varied as it is, makes ordering difficult, but you can't go wrong with the meat and three combination or the Greek salad, which has tons of feta cheese and a great garlic dressing. Stop by in the AM for a tummy-tickling country ham biscuit, or a plate of eggs and bacon – you won't be disappointed.
